Filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid Won Her Oscar Twice
Sharmeen won in the Best Documentary Short Subject for “A Girl in the River: The Price of Forgiveness”. This year Sharmeen Obadi’s short films contain moral lessons that are always heart touching. The documentary which sheds light on honor killings in Pakistan follows the story of a teenage girl shot in the face by her own family.
